Jewelry
I create unique jewelry for lovers of modern minimalist style using ethically sourced materials. My customers fall in love with the stories behind the materials I use—whether reclaimed copper washers with a stunning blue patina, Colorado Aquamarines mined at 13,000 in Chaffee County or the beautiful blue Bergslaggsten stone, a byproduct of medieval Swedish iron smelting. I meticulously research the materials I use, considering humanitarian and environmental impacts, exploring alternatives, and selecting the best options available. I take pride in consciously selecting unique materials that you won’t see everywhere, ensuring you'll love not just the piece, but also its backstory!
My designs are inspired by my childhood where I was surrounded by modern style. My father was a builder with a distinctive modern taste and exposed my sister and me to modern architecture at an early age often spending family vacations spent touring a Frank Lloyd Wright masterpiece or other modern marvels. My mother awed me with her 1970s glam style. Her clothes, hair and of course jewelry were amazing! We lived in a mid-century modern home decorated with classic furniture designs from the time. This all created a true appreciation of minimalistic, modern designs in all aspects of my life. I carry this appreciation into my jewelry design and find inspiration in all things modern - whether it be retro jewelry, modern interior design or architecture.
In addition to my handcrafted jewelry, I also offer “Mini-Smithing” workshops, inviting you to explore your own creativity. Looking for a unique experience for your next event? “Mini-Smithing” workshops are a crowd favorite! I also offer permanent jewelry featuring recycled and fair-trade metals with handmade charms and connectors. Keep an eye out for upcoming workshops and permanent jewelry parties at ARTWORKS, or feel free to schedule your own private event!
