Amy Handy

Amy Handy is a Colorado-based mixed media artist creating contemporary landscapes through acrylic paint, hand-printed papers, and collage. Her work is built intuitively through layers of color, texture, pattern, and simplified forms, drawing inspiration from mountains, skies, water, open spaces, and the natural world. Rather than depicting specific places literally, her work explores the feeling and memory of landscape, allowing visible marks, overlapping shapes, and the character of the materials to remain part of each finished piece.
